I don't know what is in octane booster, but I doubt it's anything that burns properly in a combustion engine, which means it's diluting your fuel down and you're losing performance, the only thing I would put in my fuel would be something proven like chevron's bottles of techron, but make sure you put the bottles of whatever you feel like using into the tank before you fill up so that the gas mixes it in more evenly

I've put STP Octane Booster in before, I definitely felt more peppiness from it. Don't know any other way to describe it.

Wilson you have never had a problem running e-30 in your Raptor? I may give it a try.

nope no trouble at all not even before the tune. also had the high flow cats on before the tune with the cai no codes. took the cats off and I disabled the sensors now but I don't think I'd have needed to. I would recommend running a tank or two of 91 octane before switching to e-30 give the computer time to adjust to a higher octane.

]I've gotten much better than 16.5 running 91, my best is 22.1, I have photo proof of 20.8

Holy crap. Do you live somewhere perfectly flat? I've never gotten better than 13.2.

As for octane, my MPG doesn't change. Higher octane gets rid of a lag I feel when slowly accelerating from a stop; overall throttle response is just better with >= 91. Not sure it's worth an extra $10 per fill up for that, though.

Cleave must live in an alternate universe where everything is downhill!

I have actually seen average mileage readings above 30, but it was immediately after a fill up and it was foot-off-the-pedal driving immediately after the fill. When I got to more normal terrain, that figure started plummeting. As I knew it would.
