If it's on the street, it's street racing and it is illegal. I have worked MANY a fatal (or multiple fatality) accident because some idiot thinks they are in control of their 2k+ street missle and ended in carnage and death. I have seen the racers and the innocent mowed down and families destroyed. I have attended countless depositions and court trials because someone couldn't repsect other human beings simply because their "pride" wouldn't allow it to pass (I didn't put testosterone because I have delt with female dragers too).
Point is this, if you feel your manlieness is challenged, pull over, get their info and meet them at the track. Racing belongs on the track, not the street.
...and if that doesn't sink in when you're "pulling heavy" off the light to show some dude what's up, then prepare ahead of time what you'll say to the family of the 8 year old on the bicycle that wasn't expecting a 7000k+ truck to be doing twice the speed limit in a residential, or quasi residential zone just to make a point.
