Ok guys so this is my first post but I have been a lurker for a while. I have a 2014 Raptor that has just hit 155,000 miles. I was contemplating trading the truck in on a Gen 2 or waiting for a Gen 3 or doing a full rebuild. Well I have decided I would like to keep the truck and rebuild it with a $60k budget. I would like to drive this truck for another 6 years or so before handing it down to my 10 year old son when he's ready. I would love to hear any advice or input on the list of items I have below. Am I missing anything or should I look at different options.

Current Mods:
SVC Baja Front Bumper
Lex Offroad Rear Bumper
2" Flare 2" Rise front fenders
Fox 3.0's
37" tires
JLT CAI
Magnaflow Cat-back
5 Star Tune

Rebuild List:
Livernois S800 Performance Package
-Livernois 6.6L Stroker
-Whipple 2.9L
-All Supporting Mods
Long Tube Headers (Undecided on brand)
Livernois Transmission Rebuild
Livernois Transfer Case Rebuild
SVC Offroad Mid Travel Kit
Matte Metallic Grey Wrap

Most recent pic of my truck with my oldest son, who I think loves my truck more than I do.

It's a great idea to keep the truck and rebuild it and it's a nice gesture to hand it down to your son, but I don't agree with handing down a 7-800 hp truck to a 16 year old. Having two grown boys who are adults is where my opinion comes from. If you kept it stock and handed it down, I would be more on your side of things. Don't hate me, it's just my 0.02

Now onto the extra's which you will need for that much horsepower:
Deaver plus 3 springs,
RPG traction bars ,
upgraded driveshaft,
replace all bearings in the rear end

Ricoman he will pay something for it. We will set him up on a monthly truck payment, granted it probably wont be full price, but it will get repoed without payment. haha! Plus he will pay for his insurance and gas. He will be required to have a job if he wants to drive.

Definitely wouldn't hate you for your opinion and advice especially, coming from experience. I would say it is always situational. My oldest son pictured is very methodical and thinks things through responsibly. He's rode dirt bikes from an early age, does some competitive handgun shooting, and even drives my Raptor by himself on the farm or backwoods camping. On the other hand his younger brother is the complete opposite and will probably get a 1996 Buick Skylark. HAHA!

The S800 package does include an upgraded driveshaft and they are doing a full rear end build as well. Forgot to add that on the list. I will look into the Deaver springs and trac bars. Thank you!

I think you can find more value elsewhere in terms of the motor, trans, and case build... but looks like you want to drop it off somewhere and then pickup when its all done, which always comes at a premium... good luck with your build...
