Does anyone have experience with the KHC front LCA kit? I was planning to weld plates on the LCA mounts and I found they offer a kit with 3 stages to heavily fortify the area: https://khcoap.com/products/gen-2-ford-raptor-slot-delete-kit

this is the stage 1, last bit of frame prep I planned on doing, would save me time having to fabricate:

Their stage 2 adds significant bracing to the forward mounts:

I'm trying not to add unnecessary weight to the nose of the vehicle, so the stage 3 is out for me

It does fit the base f150, although I dont know if its a drop-in for an expedition. part # is HL3Z-9H307-F - lmk how you it works out if you do swap over

i have a few friends with various levels of this kit, and i know the KHC guys from several runs ive attended..

I think this is the best front end reinforcement system out there, and i plan on adding some of it to my own truck.

im trying to get them to make a pre cut frame plating kit for the frame, hes very good with making the CAD stuff into reality.

I will definitely get one of these coming in the next few weeks and report back with results!
Generally the oem raptor pump is all that’s needed, hopefully it fits your expy

The brushless pump makes sense if you want to stay single pump without a boost-a-pump at the higher power levels. good info to read below:

Thank you for the confirmation, that’s pretty much exactly what I thought

@full-race geoff something occurred to me as I was walking through the next steps on my truck where I’m trying to mirror your engine build, and had a question.

I still intend to order a complete Gen3 motor to get the timing gear along with other improvements, but could I also swap over the valve train? I know the intent is to use the SI valves, better springs (GSC I think?), and the Coyote follower fingers, but do the Gen3 heads already have the Coyote valvetrain?

In other words, does it make sense to pull my heads and have them rebuilt before I have the Gen3 motor on hand, or is it smarter to wait until I have the new motor and pull valve train parts off the new Gen3 head in addition to the timing gear (cam phasers, etc.) that would stay on the Gen3 motor after I swap over my Gen2 heads?

Edit: Also sent you an email re: stuff I’d like to snag from Full Race when I’m there in Phoenix picking up my transmission from Tier1 in a couple weeks!

Boundary pumps replied and said they are currently working on a pump and gears. They anticipate production by the end of the year. Good news.
I got the same email response this morning… sounds like they’re serious about getting going on something for the 3.5 ecoboost!

I offered to pre-pay for one even if it takes a year to bring it to market. I really want to do this one right and build in as much reliability and critical system protection as possible with this motor.

Buy once, cry once.
