So looking to make a change. Just got an ADD stealth front bumper w/winch and lights. My current 2018 shocks have 72k so are due for a rebuild anyways. Have a set of Geisers and Icon leafs planning to use and a brand new set of Mickey 37” ATs. Have 0 offset 17s. But have decided now is the time to change if I want.

1) Go with new FRS 3.0 coilovers up front turned up to clear the 37s and added front weight. Rebuild/replace rear oem shocks.

2) Go with a brand new set of oem live valve shocks and E-Clik system. Run the Geisers up front.

Truck is mostly on road, but do regularly go on dirt/wash board roads and slower off-roading. Maybe plan to trip to something more Baja infrequently.

Both options would be approx same cost at around $4K. Could sell the Geisers if doing the 3.0s, but would eventually want to upgrade the rears which end up being more in the long run.

Or just rebuild my oems, save the money, and call it a day if neither is worth the cost overall.

Opinions??

I’d buy brand new OEM off rockauto or some Ford dealer like Tasca for around $1700 all 4 corners b/c you can w/ a non-live valve 2018- consider yourself lucky, when the shocks need to be rebuilt on a live valve truck you can’t just put it off- they yell @ ya! Meaning, they constantly make a buzzing droning sound from the live valve solenoid going haywire w/ BS readings

Buy new & sell you take offs to offset the cost probably get $350-400 for the takeoffs
