Front shock removal help

Having two issues that I could use help with

the Drivers side upper A arm bolt is just spinning with the stud and wont come off.

I was able to get the passenger side shock off without issues but the shock bolt is spinning with the shock itself and wont come off.

any tips or tricks would be appreciated

As I recall, there is a squared off bit on end of bolt, put a wrench on it or vice grips to hold it from spinning.

Use a pair of welders vise grips, clamp the upper control arm to the knuckle leaving enough room for your socket, you can apply heat to the nut, but your gonna melt the plastic lock in the nut, you can use blue lock tight to reinstall or purchase a new nut, I used lock tight with no problems.
