did they send one or both shocks? was it front or back?
Just wanted to follow up since ity has been a few weeks since I relied about this issue. I contacted Fox Shox on this noise and they immediately offered to send me a replacement shock. When I got it I had Ford replace it under warranty earlier this week and the rattle / rumble noise is gone. It seems Fox may be aware that there may be a problem with some of their dhocksbecause they asked me no questions and just sent a replacement. Regrdless, the problem is solved and now I can really start to enjoy my truck.:waytogo:

Mine sounds like its coming more from the driver side but its def something either with the shock or a arm. Doubt the ball joints would be shot with only 2000 mi on it. Shit I havent even really taken it off road yet and it sounds like my old truck after offroading for over 5 years. My back shocks seem fine but if enough of us have this problem there should be a recall on these shocks. These are fox shocks not pieces of crap you can by at advanced auto. If my truck was out of warranty i'd say f it and get a whole new set of shocks because these feel sloppy as hell.

Already did.... tire pressure was off hah. Thats the excuse they gave me lol.
Takin the truck for a real trip tonight and def bring it thru at least a foot of snow and some pretty nasty terrain so will see- maybe the shocks need to be broken in but I doubt it.

I got a 2011 crew with just about 700 miles and I have the same clunk/rattle noise on the right side. I only hear it at lower speeds like 40mph and under not at highway speed. I was thinking about taking back to the dealer but I can't stand dealing with the bullsh$t at least not yet. Ford should have a recall!!!

Come on 2012 owners please chime in here ? any of you notice this problem on your new 2012 ???

No problems here. I have a 2012 and I've heard nothing but a little hydraulic squeak from my shocks over speed bumps and such in about 5000 miles of on and off-road driving.
