Yes the rear camera does stay on a few seconds after shifting out of reverse. I don't remember the exact details in the manual but as Humvee said it did mention it and that its normal. It was irritating at first now I have gotten used to it. I will be emailing Nav TV today to see if I bring my truck in they can come up with a solution.

This wasn't a short delay. This was STAYING on... maybe 45 seconds? Long enough for me to think "this is odd", watch it for a bit, and get concerned. It did not turn off on it's own. It only turned off once I shifted (to park or neutral, I forget) and back to drive. I've been using the rear camera frequently, so I think I'm pretty comfortable with its normal brief delay.

It hasn't done it again.

There is an option in the menu for "rear camera delay" that keeps it on longer, maybe yours is set to "on"
