FRF's "Havoc in the Hills" Raptor Event - 9/26/13-9/29/13

I'm rolling solo again.

we need a rent-a-raptor so I can just fly in for the day.

I just reserved my room and they gave me a Non-Smoking room. I am thinking Raptor Wifey called and complained.

I was just gonna pick one of the overflow hotels. If the room isn't always a non smoking room, there is no point.

They asked me if I wanted smoking or not. The Hampton Inn has some ********* answering the phones. Tried telling me I have to be on official government business to qualify for gov rates. Their website states military ID is all they need. Rooms are $130 a night. Didn't check the other place. I'll stick with the comfort inn, that's where the majority will be anyway.

Weird with the smoking room issue. Comfort Inn told me several days ago all they had was smoking. So, I reserved a room at the Hampton. Much more expensive and we might be one of few out there. Oh well.

I wonder if they were confused with the rooms that Jason and Mark blocked...as in other than the blocked rooms they only have smoking. Try calling them back and saying you're with the FRF group.

Wow. This thread has exploded. I'm in this will be my first FRF event as well!! So looking fwd to it. I will register and book hotel this week. Gives me an excuse to schedule my long overdue mods. Looks like me rig will be spending some time at Trick Trucks !
