You honestly don't need any mods to run the raptor at these events but if you need something the most it would be a bump stop kit and the mid perch mod!

I am in the same boat. All I have done is rigid d2 fog lights, mid perch, Xpel wrap(going on tomarrow). The rest I am concentrating on building up recovery items, radio, helmets, mounting spare in bed.

Yea a fog light kit is good it's some sort of light source for a night run if you wanna do it you might also wanna think about a rear facing light as well maybe an amber so it can be seen through dust. The spare is fine under the truck for something like this you don't need to relocate it but if you wanna spend money then you're options are endless

Well since you opened up your wallet and asked:

1) Radio Nothing fancy..

2) Lights...I have a 40" M&R Grill Kit and some Whelen Microbursts coming...

3) Bump Stop Kit - RPG or Icon -

4) Tire Rack - Contact WSI (Ammo Box, Gas Jugs, etc)

5) Tow Rope 30K# and D-rings (Amazon)

6) Helmets (Amazon eBay)

All the above items can be found through supporting Vendors and HITH sponsors.

I think it is required to relocate you spare for this event. If not I am wasting a bunch of time and possibly money trying to figure out a bed rack system for the truck.

Good point on the rear facing amber. WSI sells these little Whelan vertex jobies that are nice and bright. We have one on a WSI whip mount that we plug into the hitch pin and it flashes. We also have two on our lightbar rack that are wired to an Aux. And while we are on the topic of WSI, we highly recommend the Whelan Micro-pioneers mounted below the grill. Our two mounted either side of our winch are brighter than the light bars under the grill.

For the night run auxilary forward facing off-road lighting is required. The more light the better. A rear amber is nice for dust/snow, etc. so something to think about.

Wrong, ALL of our events require the spare tire to be secured in the bed. Either by a fixed tire rack or properly strapped in place. Trust me you do not want to have a flat and need to get a tire from under the bed, especially in some of the terrain we'll be on at RC.
