With the TYT you can change channel using the Mic, as for the volume I just usually have it set ahead of time and leave it alone. Granted that may have something to do with the amount of things happening inside the truck during the run.

On the SnoBall I had a different radio. I still mounted it outside for other reasons. Console is useful for other stuff including a console vault soon.

My wife and I are considering this. This will be our first trip into Raptor world. We just became owners last month. We ride sxs on a weekend basis so this seems like a natural progression.
