Just a heads up I am placing an order for another round of VHF radios at the end of the day today. If anyone would like/needs one please contact me about pricing.

Radio will come programmed with choice of magnetic or Drill NMO mount and the correct antenna.

Great Radio package Jason. I ordered last week, received this morning, installed tonight. Thank you. :happy160:

Looks good...

Questions? Does it interfere with the passenger? Did you think about the console?

I have mine mounted in the same spot. Does not bother anybody that has ridden in the passenger seat yet. Had a radio inside the console for SnoBall and it was a bit of a pain when you needed to change channel or volume etc. Thought I might take mine out between runs but since it doesn't interfere it has stayed put.

**** the passenger, they should just be happy their ass is in a Raptor!

actually, the width of the radio does not even extend beyond the silver trim piece on the vertical console, plus I was sure to have my co-pilot (wifey) sit in the truck like normal to insure no issues.

This spot is pretty perfect, IMO. Not in the way, easy to see/program and plenty of ventilation.

With the TYT you can change channel using the Mic, as for the volume I just usually have it set ahead of time and leave it alone. Granted that may have something to do with the amount of things happening inside the truck during the run.

Just dont accidentally hit the FYF channel... then you will want to find the mute button! :893karatesmiley-thu
