Has anyone tried replacing the spring on the stock Fox SVT shocks with a King/Eibach etc. spring of the same rate but 2-3" longer set on bottom perch? After moving to mid-perch I enjoy the ride height and compression dampening but found the rebound to be not as plush. My question to our suspension experts is would swapping to a longer spring which doesn't require as much pre load help with the rebound or does the linear rate of the spring negate that?

I saw the progressive rate topic but I'm more interested in a closer to stock ride and we're talking 500 for progressive vs 100 for some King springs.

I would be interested to see this too because the progressive ones are $500 and I don't think coil springs are worth that

So I've been doing a lot of reading on spring rates and calculations but at the end of all of it by gong mid-perch were only preloading and are NOT changing the spring rate. What I also interpreted as harsh rebound I believe is increased rebound dampening from being further into the shock stroke, closer to top out. In the end it's new shocks or a revalve to make me 100% happy. Anyone else notice the rear of the truck not feeling as planted after mid-perch?

I have looked extensively, just short of calling eibach, king, ect., into replacing the OEM front springs. No one makes an off the shelf spring in 4" diameter. It will probably have to be custom made and back to the $500 price range again.
