I have some pictures of the passenger front sock and wanted to know if this is normal.

A dealer looked at it a few months ago and said it is "normal" to have some oil residue or leaking... so my question is when does it stop being "normal" and become a leak?

Leak has been present for the last ~4000 miles.
Truck has 14,000 miles. Middle perch.

leaking shocks are not normal. if you are leaking fluid then you are losing pressure inside your shock. get it replaced or the seals fixed

I gave up waiting for all of the giant pics to load, but from what I saw, it looks like a bad seal. Should be under warranty.

Find a new dealer.

I had mid perch on my truck at 35,000 both were replaced under warranty. The dealer put the new ones on and left it at stock ride height

If they choose to replace it, I will need to decide if I have them move the old one to bottom or change the new one to mid... thoughts?

Same thing happened to me. Only they just replaced one. So I had half at mid, half on low.
