I ran stock for 18 months, over 12 Raptor Expedition runs (arguably the most extreme runs these trucks participate in) and had NO issues! The person behind the wheel is more important than any shock on the market.

Knowing how to drive your truck with the equipment you have, is all that matters. Stock truly still works very well for MOST owners, so unless you're hardcore and constantly bashing your skid plate or losing control, stick with your OEMs!

Im getting a RPG stage 4+ kit installed and a buddy just had the same setup installed but with the icons, very shortly we ( at least in the houston rotor group) will know the differences, the trucks are identical with the exception of the rims, same tires also just installed, same tuner, same exhaust

That's unfortunate if the case but understandable. Even with all the drama that follows the shock debate around, I still think it would be valuable to do a comparison that resulted in nothing but comparable, measured numbers that people could use to come to their own conclusion.

Moderators can delete posts, and restore thread integrity if they want... That course should have been taken, if the shootout was actually a "possibility"...

Unfortunately, the shootout seemed dead before the shit slinging even began. Not sure why it wasn't pursued, other than at the time not all parties had donated a set of test shocks (which may or may not be accurate, as BigJ said others were in the talks as well).

Well that's funny guess you never updated your first page of the shock shoot out like you said you would, because it still indicates that ICON is still the only ones that have agreed to supply shocks for your shout out. So if I am getting wrong info from your post be made at yourself not me.
