Day 1 Report

10:15am - Left for airport to pickup new Raptor (codename "Rex")
11:30am - Arrived at airport. Stood next to cute girl in security line. Froze up. Almost missed flight.
2:00pm - In flight. First class. Ordered Lasanga. Really wanted the salad. Flight attendant brought us Minute Maid Cranberry Apple Juice Cocktail even though we didn't order it. Was a 10/10 drink. Not even mad.
4:15pm Local Time - Picked up at DFW airport by old man. Driver had a "good feeling" about the route to the dealership. Ran into worst traffic imaginable. Said the new "Raftors" were too fancy. Also claimed "health is a ticking time bomb".
7:00 - Arrived at dealer. Picked up Rex. Salesman knew every feature, menu option, and button. Pretty sure he's been living in it for the past 3 weeks as I found signs of a shanty town in the bed.
10:00pm - Could not find hotel in Sulfer Springs -- there was a cattle auction shutting the whole town down. Texas!!!
10:30pm - Mount Vernon hotel rooms scarce. Town hosting a team power lifting competition.
10:45pm - Had to pee. Still no hotel room. Peed on the side of a Wendy's.
11:15pm - Saw an outside kitty. Apparently it's plaguing the community.
11:30pm - Settled into hotel room for a quick game of nightcrawlers.

Got a chance to test out the off-road capabilities. Pulled this off after switching to Baja mode.

First fuel up! FRF members were kind enough to donate $58 for making raptorfinder.com so wherever that gets us is our new home.

Recommended fueling position takes a little getting used to though.
