Well, after putting in an order in early October and then hearing nothing for 5 months I finally pulled the trigger on one already built. Got it for $3k over MSRP which wasn't quite as good as the deal I got back in October, but this one actually exists. Got 100% like I had ordered it and the dealer put tint on the front windows and put their own spray-in bed iiner too. So all in all, pretty happy. Picking up next Friday as I have to go down to Texas (from Delaware) to get it, but my friends convinced me to do it as an excuse to all fly down and have a road trip back.

Shout out to @photoneffect (lolz) for the Raptor Finder tool which I used to find it. But for reals thanks to the peeps on here that posted their situations and info they had to help me cobble together an understanding of this whole process. Not sure I've ever seen a more dysfunctional product roll out in my life, but you guys helped keep me sane!

Will post some pics once I get there as well as any fun road trip pics (e.g. - World's Largest Patio Chair).

Congratulations! That's going to be a fun trip down and back up, enjoy and safe travels! Let us all know how she is on the highway.

Do yourself a favor a get a good nights sleep before going cross country. At least two other guys on here almost wrecked their trucks on the drive home. Spend 55-70k on a truck, not sure why a couple hundred or rush to get home would be such a big deal. Congrats

No doubt. We're planning on taking it relatively slow. No 16+ hour days of driving for sure.

Road trip has commenced! Leaving the snow for the 70 degree Texas weather.

Congratulations and have a safe trip!

I just ran to DE this morning and picked up a new mountain bike!

I'm surprised to hear about people falling asleep in their new trucks. I can't believe the adrenaline doesn't keep them awake. Back in January of 04' I drove truck with trailer from HBG PA to Austin TX to pick up a wrecked 04' Cobra. I was so pumped to go get the car and was on a tight time schedule that i did the trip straight through, round trip..... 3,200 miles. I woke up the morning I was leaving to about 5 inches of snow. Spent an hour cleaning the driveway before I left. So I pulled out at noon on a Friday and got home at 7pm Sunday night.

So keep the adrenaline pumping and BE SAFE!!
