For you all who've done the auto-start-stop disable....there are 3 settings on the spreadsheet... #1 disables it, #2 disables the switch, and #3 disables the message in the instrument cluster when you hit the switch.

I actually would like auto start stop in some situations...just curious, if you do the #1 step to disable it but don't do #2 (disable the switch), can you turn it back on? Having it be default-off would be preferable.

I already did #3 (disable instrument cluster message) and that is a godsend. I hate messages that tell me that I've pushed a button.

Hi guys, I have been wanting to dive into changing some settings with Forscan. Where do you go to get some background and steps?

I have read through some of the threads but they are so large I am not sure where to find the "how to get started".

Any links or post #'s would be greatly appreciated.

The first post has a link to the F150 forum thread, and that has the google docs info.

You must have a Windoze computer, Forscan does not work with Mac OS. you need a bluetooth or cabled OBD2 adapter, forscan license and you’re ready to mod.

Pick one of the mods you’re interested in, make that mod and only that mod after you make a backup. if your mod involves making multiple changes, be sure to make all the updates to all the modules. Once you have the hang of it, you can do more at one time.

Anyone know if it’s possible to have the marker lights come on with the parking lights/turn signal as DRL’s? I did the change that enabled the parking lights/turn signal but the marker lights didn’t come on.

I recently got all the mods I want setup via FORScan (along with backups to restore if needed) thanks to the great details provided here and over at the other forum. There are 2 additional MODS I would like to do.

I have two questions:

First, I would like to use my Halos AND BLINKERS as my DRL (as that seems the best for daytime visibility). Is there ANY DOCUMENTED reason NOT to include the BLINKERS? (i.e. Will they burn out being used all the time... Are they too hot to be on all the time causing problems?? Do they still work for blinkers? :) )

Second, I know there a FORScan Mod to change the time-period BEFORE the lights come on for night driving, for driving through a tunnel etc. Can someone direct me to that mod?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to have the auto stop/start default to off and have the switch, when pushed, turn it on??

unexplainable thing happened after my first service (vehicle's 3rd service)
I purchased my 2017 with about 1,000 miles on the odometer -
and I enabled a bunch of things with FORscan like
- disabled auto start/stop
- temp over gauges
- fake engine noise (damn you Ford for the insult)

After my 1st service (vehicle's 3rd), the double horn somehow got enabled? And temp over gauges disabled.
Other modifications I mention above remained.

Very peculiar that I 2 modifications were affected.

Anyhow, turned off double honk and enabled temps over gauges today.
