Thank you for sharing your feedback on the BakFlip MX4. We genuinely value input from our customers, as it helps us continuously improve our products and services.

We’ve heard similar feedback regarding the updated MX4 design, particularly about the rails. I want to assure you that we’ve taken this seriously. Our team is actively redesigning and producing a new, more durable rail with dual layers for added thickness and integrity. This improvement aims to address the concerns you and others have raised.

Your trust in BAKFlip products over the years is appreciated, and we’re committed to earning it back. If there’s anything we can do to assist you further or address your current experience, please don’t hesitate to DM me!
So if you recognize that they are junk, then why not go back to the original design and replace the lower quality ones as needed to keep customers.

I bought my Bakflip mx4 new March 24. Works fine overall but Its been less than a year with a few offroad trips with the cover on, and the side rubber gets absolutely mangled on both sides. I already brought it in 3x for adjustments and this is just pretty much how it is.

Any recommendations on an "offroad rated" cover? I would also like for it to fit my RPG rack. Thanks.
