Is it possible to turn up the bass output from the amp in forscan? Completed all the other tweaks today and really impressed with the instructions and advice here. Appreciate all the updates

no.

if you want more bass, you’ll need to invest some $$$. check out the post by @Guy in the audio section stereo upgrade for under $500 as a starting point. B&O is a bit more pricey to upgrade.

Even with a sub and amp, the factory signal processor rolls off the bass starting ab about volume level 24 or so. You aren’t able to practically work around this without some kind of signal processor.

I am going to the dealer on Tuesday.. will let you know how I make out. My friend has a 2018 and everything heats up when remote start is used, panel comes alive when door is open, he doesn’t have to press start.
I have an 18 that I have not touched yet with ForScan... in remote start if below 50 degrees it seems, driver seat only and steering start warm with some “ventilation “ at low speed. When I open the door, the gage display does some initial start and then nothing. The seat heat bars don’t show until I hit the start button. All that said, on remote start it takes about 10 minutes for the seats to be warm to touch. Steering wheel on the other hand is usually warming after about 5 min.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm going through the spreadsheet.
I think I remember a line where we could only "Remove the heated steering wheel from the home screen."
And it wasn't associated with the heated seat icons.

Educate me.

I am trying to go back and undo it.

Also, I want to get the volume control back on the steering wheel to work does anyone remember which change took that away?

Restore your as built settings for the modules you changed.

The rear monitor is WAY too bright when backing up with the rear camera on.

When you initially power the truck up you may have left the interior lights at full dim, but the monitor doesn’t start off there. You must first increase the overall brightness then decrease it in an order to get the brightness down to a non-distracting level. Even when you backup the monitor comes on WAY too bright.

It would be nice if switching between Eco (normal) and Sport wouldn’t always revert from 4A to 2H AND re-engage trac/stability control.

Be able to lock out the rear diff in 2H, fun in the dirt.

Not everything that was changed had an effect on the certain things I want to add back.

So, does anyone know which change or combo of changes effected the volume controls?

I have noticed the same. To me it seems a bug. You’re right, brightness stays too high unless you hit the up/down on the brightness buttons. Then it sets to what it should be. It does it on the default Ford interface but also on Apple CarPlay.

I hope Ford knows and will fix it in an upcoming update.
