New 2018 raptor owner here needing to make some changes in forscan. Have no idea where to start to be honest. Living it up I been trying to find your tuturiol in your signature but don’t see it for some reason. Any of you all in Colorado Springs by chance? Recently picked up a 801a truck and added factory kicker sub with amp but isn’t working. Apparently have to make some changes in forscan and need guidance on what I need to change. Appreciate anyone that can help set me in the right direction. Thanks

Here's the tutorial: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8dKaS_Spu4Zw4hV_CrKC4tLoP9G8yejqegF1wxIqxY

I did the auto start/stop, double honk and steering wheel heater icon. I can't seem to be able to do the temp above gauges. According to the guide the address should be 720-07-01. Checked every module and I don't see any numbers that start with 720. Am I some how missing a module ?

You're missing a bunch of modules because you're either a) using the wrong adapter or b) don't have it configured correctly

From the FAQ in my tutorial:

  1. I bought a USB adapter with a toggle switch but FORScan only finds a few modules. How can I fix this?
    1. go into FORScan settings, connection tab and change "MS-CAN Support" to "HS/MS Switch"

    2. connect to your truck again in FORScan but click no when it brings up your VIN profile (the toggle switch needs to be in the HS-CAN position when you connect)

    3. it should then find a few modules and then prompt you to flip the toggle switch on your adapter and find the rest of the modules

    4. if it finds all modules then you can save this new VIN profile and use it on all subsequent connection attempts.

Great thanks! I went in turned on kicker subwoofer and disabled fake engine noise. Can anyone tell me if it was necessary to disable engine noise?
Yes that engine noise was putting a lot of “white noise” through the stereo. Mine made a hissing noise that could be heard when the volume was low.

I would just like to say to anyone thinking about doing this that I'm glad I put the effort into making these changes with Forscan. No more engine noise, no more start/stop, numbers above gauges, no double honk....etc. Love it!
