I dont know if this is possible, i understand the blind spot monitoring is there,
However, is it possible to utilize those under-mirror cameras to switch on for video blind spot with turn signal like some cars do?

If you guys are getting "incompatible configuration" (or some wording to that effect) errors trying to write certain values at 726-50-01 for the DRL, write this value first: 726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx and then write the value at 726-50-01.

726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx - this will allow you to write any of the DRL values at 726-50-01

So finally got a chance to go back to this. Need to test some more tomorrow, but problem I seemed to be having was after the change the interior cabin lights flash as it's writing. That part seemed pretty normal. But then when I'd start driving the lights came back on again. If I used the switch to turn them off, only the front ones would turn off...rear seat stayed on.

Anyway, reverted back to As Built. Updated again tonight and seems alright. Will test again tomorrow when driving.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else runs into it or has run into it. ?? This is on a 2018.

And a question, when we write 726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx and then make the change at 726-50-01...we leave the change at 726-45-01 right? No need to go back to original value there?

Thanks again Livnitup!! You rock!!

Yeah, make this change and leave it: 726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx

That will allow you to write any of the values below (half of them won't write and FORScan will give you an error if the 7F isn't set at 726-45-01)

726-50-01 108E
726-50-01 017F
726-50-01 0280
726-50-01 0482
726-50-01 0886
726-50-01 209E
726-50-01 40BE

I have an '18 in Canada and I did these forscan changes to my vehicle and its working fine.

Disabling Canadian forced DRLs to cluster controlled
BCM 726-16-02 0101 0101 0049
BCM 726-21-01 xxxx xxxx x1xx
IPC 720-02-01 xxEx xxxx xxxx
IPC 720-02-01 xxCx xxxx xxxx

Now, Id like to be able to have only the amber lights turn on as DRLs when in auto setting (U lights in headlight, 3 running lights in grill and the parking lights) so I tried using these settings as well:

DRL - Parking Lights only (stock LEDs only)
BCM 726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 01xx

I just tested out the vehicle outside but nothing turns on when in the auto setting.

Im not sure what these notes mean as well:
** must also set Daytime Lights on in IPC settings, adv settings, vehicle, lighting for all DRL choices here on spreadsheet**

Does it mean that I am supposed to enable all the other DRL settings listed on the spreadsheet as well?

Also, would I need to revert the Canadian DRL settings back to their original settings before doing the other DRL settings?

If anyone knows the proper solution, please chime in.
Thanks!

It means the following: in your cluster menu go to settings, adv settings, vehicle, lighting and select the box there that says "Daytime Lights". If you don't do this then you won't have any DRL function. You never had this option with your Canadian settings but with the changes you did you now enabled cluster-controlled (aka the Daytime Lights option).

No, don't revert back to your Canadian DRL settings.

thanks for your help!

My IPC settings were done incorrectly and I did not have the DRL option in my settings menu. I was able to add them and now they work perfectly!
