My TT has a "500 lbs" tongue weight but I have no way of verifying. I'm going to adjust the bars and height on my next trip out this spring/summer and try to get some weight towards the front. I'm also going to take some preload off of my front shocks and try to level out for towing.

500lbs is not a lot. I took the eibachs and went back to stock to keep the front end down when towing.

Interested in this as I occasionally tow our boat (6500#) with a 3rd gen. Been looking at airbags. Was at the lake back in October and there were a ton of raptors towing and most of them had airbags... Didn't get a chance to speak to any of the owners about them though

Edit: been looking at the timber grove airbags, but noticed air-lift also came out with some for a little less $$

How did the truck ride on option 3 when not towing ?
Mainly concerned with on road characteristics. I don’t tow a lot but I like not having to worry about it and just hook it up.
Was thinking about doing option 3 with a drop shackle.

I thought it was rather good. Not bad at all, but I did "break it in", with a few off-road runs and towing. Truck wasn't even that high. What I can't confirm is if I had option 2 or 3 to be honest, it was so long ago and I have since gone no additional leaf. My shop installed the optional leaf without my knowledge. It was when I got a replacement set that I realized I was riding with optional leaf.
