Jhyda...think I duplicated it. You get the "writing blocks failed -- incomplete configuration"

I think in the single block entries it incorporates the checksum into that same frame. Be sure you put in "01" not just a "1" in the 2nd position.

My original value was 108E. After getting it to change it is 017F. Try manually entering that.

So Jhyda...do you also have a 2018? I think maybe the decoding info is off for our vehicles. I could not ever get it to take an 02xx at 726-50-01. (Tried manually adding a checksum of 0280...no go either).

So for me it was either original value 108E or value you were trying for 017F (which I successfully loaded). However the spreadsheet I'm looking at says 01xx is for parking lights only. With that value, my truck is giving exactly what i wanted: Parking lights and Low beams (which the spreadsheet says should be 02xx) Hmmmmm ??? I'm happy. But will be curious if you are able to get Parking Lights only (stock LEDs)...if that is what you're trying for.

Anyone else with 2018s care to chime in with your results?

whoa. That was painful. Not so much the forscan editing, just the prep to do it. I way underestimated the amount of setup time for a brand spanking new tablet to do this. Once the daggone tablet was ready to operate, I could make the edits. simple first effort - nuke the double honk. success. auto fold and then subsequently Lincoln fold mirrors, I did manage to get as well. I also turned off engine noise and upped the time the stereo can run.

More reading to do but we’ll see how the next few drives go. I wasn’t going to try fake engine noise after hearing the youtube video with it suppressed but, what the heck, I have a backup

hahaha! Nice work. Yeah, the engine noise off is a tough call. I like to hear the real sounds and not have it playing over my music...but the rumble was sometimes kinda nice. So far, haven't decided to go back.

I also just found this resource and downloaded file for my VIN. Figure it's worth keeping a copy of...it lets you get most (or maybe all) of your As Built Data direct from Ford.

If you guys are getting "incompatible configuration" (or some wording to that effect) errors trying to write certain values at 726-50-01 for the DRL, write this value first: 726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx and then write the value at 726-50-01.

726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx - this will allow you to write any of the DRL values at 726-50-01

Thanks @bfr . I was a little spooked by the only video I’ve heard comparing via youtube but I think it has improved the cabin noise level and made the purity of the sound coming from the stereo much better.

Lincoln mirrors work nicely, but I did manage to trip over them; I start the truck with my phone, get to the truck, get in and immediately lock the doors - mirrors fold in after partially folding out, only to fold right back out when I hit start :) This is not a problem in the big scheme of things.
