Forscan changes - tweak your truck

Got the double honk, Lincoln mirrors, heated and cooled seats w/steering wheel. The only mod that I am having trouble with is the DRL. Changed the setting on the dash, but they are not working. Are you guys in automatic on the lights? Thanks.

Yup, works in automatic. Make sure the drl setting is on in the menu.

Had the same problem. I had a cheap adapter. Buy the OBDLink MX Bluetooth and it'll go a lot smoother for you.

This is the one I purchased and everything has worked great, no issues and I have hooked up 4 different times now because I can't make up my mind and I find it kinda fun anyway.

I've also read on here that the truck needs to be in drive or reverse for them to come on.

Mine doesn't. Functions jut like before (if set to Auto in the settings)

Anyone want to hear what a ****** V6 sounds like make sure you disable the engine noise option...

That's going back on today, will try it off again when I get a different exhaust system but as is it is very painful to hear.

I think pushing the button will still illuminate but should be disabled anyways.

this works, been using it for over a month now. the button is dark, but the dash shows the A with the line through it

FYI for guys that started off using FORScan with the wrong kind of adapter but then bought the MX or a USB with the toggle switch:

The first time you connect to your truck with the right adapter in FORScan you need to click no when it brings up your truck's VIN profile from previous attempts so that it re-discovers all the modules. If you don't do this FORScan will only list the few modules that your previous adapter saw.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there a way to have your Sync system record all of your SiriusXM presets, instead of just the station you are listening to?
If anyone has owned a 2016+ Chrysler vehicle (I came from a '16 Ram 2500), they would know what i'm talking about. The Uconnect system records all 12 presets from the moment you start the vehicle and allows you to switch to anyone of them and rewind as far as 1 hour. It's really impressive.
