Need a little bit of assistance on this one. Trying to do DRL but my low beams stay on. Does anyone know the value to get that to not happen? Currently running the following:

DRL - Parking Lights & Turns only
BCM
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 08xx

I have noticed that when I change the first two values of 726-50-01 (108E) and hit write it changes to 0886 so the E randomly changes to a 6, not sure if it's related, just sharing information.

FORScan changes the checksum bits to correspond with your new value. Normal.

Now about your DRL problem...what year is your truck?

You guys can do what you want, I was editing 1’s and 0’s before byte maps existed, I cut my teeth on Motorola radios...... the good old days.

We get it...you're old. haha :) Don't think any one was challenging or contradicting your great advice. Pascal, COBOL and assembly language for this old fart.

Truck is a 2018 SCREW. I do have the lights set to auto.

I also have a 2018 SCREW...I had problems with the spreadsheet DRL values too. I wanted parking lights and low beams only which I guess was factory standard for us...so I deleted my changes and all was good. Maybe livinitup has some insight.

Another thought: If truck is sensing rain OR ambient lighting is too dim...low beams will be triggered.

I tried it again today in the middle of the day. It was 80 degrees and sunny, not a cloud in the sky

Just reviewed page 101 of this thread. Maybe try the Parking Lights Only (halogen) settings and see what you get.

726-26-02 x1xx xxxx
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx
726-50-01 108E
