The Raptors frontend holds the plow better than our Chevy & GMC 2500. This is a Western 8-10ft Wideout plow.

Did you do anything to the front end to help support the weight? The plow itself is 940lbs not including the mount.

Just the mid perch adjustment. It didn't need it but it helped.

I removed the front skid & tow hooks. The western mounts go in the same location as the tow hooks. Slight trimming on the bumper is required as well.

Suspension is not going to be the problem.. If you have a Torsen front diff, you WILL be tearing up the IWE's!

The 1/4" metal interface of the locking ring is not strong enough and you will end up rounding the teeth..

You know this because there's been so much research done on Ford Raptors with plows? ;).

If it were to happen id be happy to upgrade it anyways.

Looks good, my concern would be the IWEs and the F-150 is ok for light duty personal plowing. If you are plowing a lot you will wear out that truck in a few short years.

The suspension is designed to handle the demands of off road and I feel,it is to soft for plowing, think about how stiff the Super Duty trucks are. The tires are to wide and will flot to much this is not that big of a deal but not ideal. The sidewalls are very soft so it seems the would be a lot of side to side motion because of the sidewall flex.

Not knocking your choice just my thoughts and I would love to hear about your feedback as you get out and use it.
