I had the truck in for service this week and asked the dealer to perform this TSB. They said they completed it. Is my understanding correct that the only way to tell that this has been completed would be to unmount the fuse box and look underneath for a tie in?

There will be a new cartridge 20amp fuse in slot #70 and a should be a sticker on the fuse box lid indicating that new location for the fuel pump fuse. I have not done mine yet but I am 90% sure #70 is the new location.

I think you are good I will double check the directions to confirm the #70 location when I get home later today.

For those of you that are doing this yourself, are you using the recommended soldering gun in the instructions? The D550PK?

Where did you take it? And did they charge you for it?

I used a soldering iron.
The soldering gun would heat up much quicker and hotter.
Go get the soldering gun and rosin core solder.
You'll thank yourself.
