Hope the next time (if there is a next time) is uneventful! I feel lucky to have a great dealer in my small town!!

Just inspected Fuse 27 on my '11 SCREW. 20A fuse and no signs of abuse to the fuse or the slot. Just ordered the kit from TASCA to be safe. Good excuse to wrench on the truck and drink beer in the name of solid piece of mind.

LOL! Thanks for the laugh, punchinpaper. I can neither confirm nor deny that I'm Batman, although I'll say that my bat signal would look a bit more like the Ford logo. ;)

Yet no one has seen Crystal and BatMan in the same room either.....

Happened to me today... long crank, no start. Popped hood, fuse 27 burned up. Not just blown fuse, burned up like brown scorched plastic that came apart when i tried to remove it. replaced fuse for now, will get relocate kit. You guys are awesome. Made me late to the gym.

Mine just happened last week, dealer repaired and gave me a free rental for the day.
It definitely leaves you stranded. My fuse was burned up and I installed a new one but it wouldn't start.

So I picked up the kit from Tasca, and I'm wondering how many of you guys have just gone ahead and installed it without any prior issues?

I've made long road trips to Maine and Kansas, and somehow survived 2 brutal florida summers. Is it worth replacing if it hasn't shit the bed yet? Is there a mileage trend where it normally malfunctions?
