I had one of the first orders in for a 22 37 package. No sunroof no pro power (which I think is most of the problem people are seeing.)
I dislike sunroofs, the pro power seems nice, but I'm glad I didn't order with it seeing all the issues people are having with their trucks being delayed.
Mine just left the railyard in IL this week in transit to the dealer, cant wait!

Walked into ford and ordered a 22 raptor 801a high without 37 package on 12/21/21. Not sure if they had allocation or not but put my $500 deposit down and got the paperwork and email confirmation the same day. My dealer said 6-8 months and another dealer said possibly a year….??? In the past 3 months I have gone to the dealership twice to get an update but they weren’t very helpful. I ask them straight up if it’s going to come or not and all they said was yes you gotta wait. One dealer said it was still scheduled but clean. Are they not giving me an answer to keep my deposit? Also on the forums people are saying if you ordered without allocation the truck won’t be built. If that’s true why would they let me order it? I understand that it hasn’t been 6 months yet but I don’t want to wait for nothing. Anyone have info?
You're in for a wait. You are 3 months in and losing patience already?

I placed my original order last summer, it was reordered as a 2022 in October, and just entered production a couple of weeks ago. ETA is expected to be early April.

Not trying to be confrontational, but there's a bunch of people that should have theirs built before someone who ordered the end of December.

Both of my 2 October orders are still unscheduled.
(Dealers promised allocations)
Same for me. When I called the dealership yesterday and talked to my salesman and asked him to get me a better update than "still unscheduled," he called back and said Ford had taken away their allocation for my truck, or I guess "suspended" it is probably a better term. He said the order would remain open and when they get the allocation back (assuming they do) the order would schedule.

My order date was 10/21.

You're locked down to them so you're a free $500 at worst if you back out, and at best they can take the truck out from under you and sell it for a pretty markup (ADM) to anyone they want when it comes in.

Dealerships operate on debt, they'd rather take an interest-free loan from you (deposit) to pay off their debt which is accruing interest (incurred to hold a supply of vehicles). It's small potatoes but every dollar counts.
I placed an order with a dealership back in Jan that told me Ford changed how they were doing orders and allocations weren't necessary to get a truck order built. I'm gonna give it another couple months before I call them back and get my $1000 deposit back if I don't have an update. I'm already concerned it will get pushed to a 23 order and if that's the case I will just pick one up off a dealer lot with a 5-10k markup. I'm not waiting all year just to have it turn into a 23MY order.

I feel you, this happened to me with a '21 that turned into a '22.

It's finally getting produced, but next time I buy a vehicle, I'm not ordering it unless they sell straight to consumer.

thats interesting. the order banks didnt open until June 2021.
Yup, books opened June 10. Could have been like me though...I put a deposit on my '22 on June 26 (knowing the books wouldn't open until sometime around the end of September/first of October) just so I would get in line for my dealer's first allocation.
