Thanks. Your set up looks and operates great! What did the install on the cameras run?

I did it myself. Went slow and probably took 4 hours. Had to order an add-a-fuse from amazon. Only regret is I should’ve mounted the rear camera upside down. In the software, you can flip it. Mounting it upside down would’ve let me run the wire more discretely since it would’ve came out of the camera near the window seem.

It looks very sharp. Good job. Thanks

It’s a BlackVue so pretty low profile to begin with. Also I had the radar detector in the pictures below out of the truck during service.

Still can’t believe I have a new Raptor on the way and a new trip to Raptor Assault in my future!

Thanks again for all the help guys!

What year is your truck and do you have the 802A package? I am asking because my 2018 w/ 802A has a large black plastic piece in that position behind the mirror, so I do not think I can fit a BlackVue in the same location.

TLDR: He had a hidden Dash Cam record the whole event and is getting a new 2020 Raptor out of the dealer.

I have an 802a. Maybe this pic will help.

There's a lot that's shameful about the initial situation that the OP experienced, not the least of which is that had he not had the dash cam, I don't imagine much would have come of it; and most certainly wouldn't have been "compensated" in anywhere near the manner that he was. I do hope the tech was fired as there should be a zero tolerance policy for abusing someone else's vehicle, whether it's a $200 beater or a $70K Raptor.
