Good to hear. I just bought it and it arrives today. Will install tomorrow. Hope it’s worth $600.I installed mine on my 23 37 PP last night, the actual install was easy enough and first impressions are really positive.
I only did a brief shakedown, but as others have said the shifting is a lot smoother and I feel like the throttle response is much better.
I think driving in Normal mode is much better now, it's a lot less sluggish and in Sport mode it's definitely more noticeable.
All in all, I think it's a good improvement. Do I wish it had a bigger performance bump? Yes, but if you can get it for under MSRP I still think it's worth it.
I got mine for $640.00 and definitely think it's worth it so far.Good to hear. I just bought it and it arrives today. Will install tomorrow. Hope it’s worth $600.
I qualify for the last statement. I'd like to have it but I drive like an old man,(cause I am), and I'd have to have the dealer install it because I don't have a laptop and I'm not very computer savvy. So for now, ill keep following, lolI've been delaying posting my update because at times I think I notice a difference, then sometimes I wonder if it's placebo. The transmission is definitely better, which is the main reason I got it. The little time I've spent in Sport since, I have noticed the improved downshifting I was hoping for. Yesterday, in Sport, I gunned in from a dead stop and the launch felt brand new, faster than I remember. But I also hadn't driven it in a few days. So again, hard to say for certain what I was experiencing.
Final opinion - if the transmission bothers you, you will love this. If you're looking for noticeable HP gains, this might not be for you. If you've spent $600 on way dumber things and you're going to read this thread everyday and wonder what you're missing (me), this is for you.
You don't need a laptop to do the install, just a Windows PC so you can upload and download the tunes to the module.I qualify for the last statement.
