Royal Purple PN: 20-500 also replaces Motorcraft PN: FL-500S and fits the HO 3.5L ecoboost.

This is the filter I’ve been running since seeing the size difference between the OEM filter that came on the truck from the factory and the Motorcraft.

I used the FL500S in the past but now I use the Amsoil filter along with Amsoil oil.

I use WIX XP on 2019 and K&N on my 2010.

I use the same FL500 that came from the factory just for the piece of mind that if my motor ever blows under warranty, it will be one less reason to deny a claim.
