For the record. Ford customer service is located in Florida and they are not even Ford employees but contract labor. None of them ever give a shit and are absolutely worthless to talk to. I would request to talk the owner of the dealership or higher. I agree with you, I would never give Ford another dime how they are treating you. I would take it as far and as long as I could, just out of principle, haste and to be a royal pain in the ass.

That's not totally true about the CS employees Some of them are Ford employees Maybe not the ones you get ok the phone , but some people who work in CS are in fact Ford employees

As for the rest , I agree 100% I'd take this up with the owner. I'm willing to bet they will make things right for you. If he (or she) is smart they will anyway

Talk directly to SVT, not Ford CS, they take pride in the good and the bad, cause we are all on the Raptor Team:gr_guns:

If all else fails take Ford to small claims court in your State. In Nevada it was below $5000 I did this on a car once, the dealer never showed, I had minor BS $800, Judge ordered they had to pay total amount, and anything found that was related. I went to the dealer who were *******, and was treated like a King, total Bill was over $1000, oo included detail and free oil changes for a yaer, best weapon we have without a Lawyer, BB

I am not pursuing the dealer in this just yet. This is a FORD quality issue. Not a Hall Ford dealership issue. If ford stands fast and refuses to stand behind the product they have the dealerships sell then i will press my dealership more. As of right now they agree with me in the fact that this is not typical damage, and they agree that this should be taken care of. I even was clear about my expectations if ford decides to blow me off. It's a waiting game now. I have heard nothing from the cust service person on this forum other than she asked for my vin, dealership, and phone number. I will wait and see what, if any response I get from her. I also called the cust service center again today and they are reopening my case. And finally, the "cynthia" that was the "North Eastern Region manager was replaced last week. The service manager at Hall told me that today. The new Manager is supposed to call me tomorrow. The Service Manager from Hall suggested that I request ford send a specialist to examine the fender. I believe that once that is done they will clearly see this is textbook delamitation of fiberglass, and will make the appropriate decision. The question is, will ford actually do that????

Might have more answers tomorrow, but the cust service rep was clear about the fact that in her 2.5 years working there Ford has never reopened a denied warranty claim at that level. The digital imaging team gets to sit at a computer and determine a claim with little repercussions if they make a wrong decision. They even stated that this "had to be caused by an external element."

I love how they can sit and look at a picture and know exactly what caused a problem.... I need these guys working with me @NASA I think!

Actually no, I'd be out of a job... they are way better at analyzing composite materials than i am.... I still need to touch and feel for defects before i recommend a solution.

Who is this digital imaging team?
No one can override their decisions?
They make a determination based on some photographs, not an actual physical inspection and its taken as gospel?
Wow, they must be really really good. I hope they don't expand into other areas, a lot of us are going to be out of work. Why send any of us technical types out to a customer's location, just have the digital imaging team wave their all knowing magic wand and the problem is solved.
Ford better make this right. At the least they need to pay proper attention to this and do an actual inspection or it may very well have some larger repercussions.
Ford's treatment of this is going to weigh in my next vehicle purchase & what I tell others about my Ford experience. While it may be presumptuous on my part, I bet others on this site feel the same way.
Raptor owners as a whole are not a demographic Ford should want to alienate. We are educated, literate, know how to communicate and have disposable income.
Are you listening Crystal?

So after going to a second dealership, contacting cust service and reopening my case, and submitting a more detailed second claim Ford has agreed to fix the problem. This will be completed under warranty. Thank all of you for speaking up and helping this become more vocal... Sometimes that is necessary.

My guess is that it was never a Ford CS issue in the first place and just the original dealer blowing smoke. Glad it's being taken care of though!
