Are warranties exempt from sales tax? I was surprised to see NO sales tax on mine. This was bought on location at dealer, not online. Being from Illinois, the air we breathe is taxed, so this made my day lol

His take was I already service my truck at that dealer and will be returning to service my truck there... so they will make money on me, and didn't need to gouge me more on this.

Another option... For those that are a little weary of a buying from the online ones, Here's the info to finance guy at my dealership. He has since set up another member here and mentioned to me today he's happy to help out any other friends. Just mention that Tom on Raptor Forum sent ya, should get ya the same pricing as the best online ones.

I am from Florida also and dealers try to tell you that you cant buy out of state but they are wrong.
