GEN 1 6R80 Gear Display Flicker

Anyone else have this issue?
Driving the truck, display for the gears disappear and come back on. When in park, engage the parking brake, truck screams at me as if I'm in drive. Starts flickering erratically between P R N D M 2 1
Transmission doesn't drop gears while driving and when I'm parked, it doesn't jerk or anything as if it's in gear while it flickers.
Already went through the recall process.

So it dosen't drive strange? No erratic shifts or things like that?

Doesn't sound like it's a transmission issue to me, maybe check wiring going down to the trans and check connectors.

Any chance you're engaging "manual" mode via the shifter handle ?

Nope, just flickers while driving and when in park with parking brake engaged, it freaks out as if I shifted to Drive and the display strobes through all the options for the transmission.

I don't rest my hand on the shifter so no.

Sounds like a wiring issue to me. Maybe with the cluster
