The $125 ish is the correct price. That dealer gave you incorrect info.

For the BEADLOCK RINGS only that is...NOT the entire wheel.

Just the piece that converts it to a true beadlock.

The dealer told me his cost was $440 each!! At $125, I'd go for it, but
not $440 each plus profit for the dealer.

The $440 is probably the dealers cost on each rim and if you wanted it to be a functioning Beadlock you would have to add the $125.00 ring and hardware to each wheel.

Please let me know where you can get the rings for $125 each. The complete rim
is listed at $1750 EACH - without the locking rim. If anyone knows please pm
me or email to [email protected]

Thanks,

Brian.

Suggested MSRP is $135 each for the locking rings. So you can probably get them for a bit cheaper. The dealer telling you they're $440 EACH I'd ask them for a printed quote to make sure they're trying to get nearly quadruple MSRP for each and didn't mistakenly quote it for 4 thinking it was for 1, go home and print out this link, go back and slap it on the desk and say I want to speak to the manager IMMEDIATELY if they were trying to charge 4x's as much as what Ford's very own website says is 1/4 that cost. After they come WAY down in price, I'd walk back out and say shove it up your *** and call Ford customer service and file a complaint for price gouging, and go order them from any other dealer for MSRP. lol But the key to that is step 1, get a printed quote with that price if they're really asking $440 each!

I've found a couple of sites that say the shipping weight is 41 lbs which sounds crazy.

41 lbs, wow, one of the reasons I ordered them is because I assumed since they are forged, they would be lighter.

Not crazy about the Black, I was thinking of possibly having them powder coated a high gloss dark metallic Gray, similar to the original wheels. That way they will match the fender flares.

I'm going to research Centerline forged wheels to see if I can find a reputable firm to machine them to take hub centric press fit rings. They are 24 lbs.

I don't really understand hub centric, my Jaguar has hub centric, the only reason I know is I looked into getting different wheels at one time and that is one of the problems I ran into. So I just decided to save my money and just stick with the original ones.

Most OEM wheels are hub centric. With Hub centric there is a ring that is machined into the face of the hub on the vehicle and the OEM wheel is machined to precisely fit over that ring on the hub. The weight of the vehicle is carried by the ring and the bolts just hold the wheel to the hub. With Lug Centric the wheel does not fit precisely over the ring and conical nuts are used to align the wheels to the hub. The only benefit of lug centric is to the manufacturer of aftermarket wheels. If they had to make wheels in all bolt patterns with all hub ring sizes they would have to make and inventory many more versions. I read somewhere for trucks it would be 26 versions for each size instead of a couple. This savings comes at a price. I don't worry about the strength of Lug centric but I have personally had issues with Lug centric running true on the truck. With OEM hubs, they are machining for precision of the hub ring but there is no need to high precision of the lug bolts. I think this is why I have had wheel balance issues with them.

As I said earlier I will likely be getting Centerlines and have them machined to take hub rings.

THANK YOU! As mentioned earlier - he was pricing the ring on the stock beadlock rim!
