Reviving the thread...

I'm Subaru Outback owner and really like the integrated roof rails that snap out and connect as crossbars. I'm looking for something similar for my 2020 Raptor SCAB which would have smaller roof area (36" L x 32" W 1st rooftop grove). Height is an issue as it still needs to fit in underground garages but the Outback rails/crossbars add only 3-4" max to the top of the car and the Raptor's roof antenna is @ 3" above the roof anyhow so the dimensions seem to work.

Here is the Outback swing-n-place crossbar system as reference:

This is the closest roof rails (no crossbar) I've found so far for the Raptor:

My 2001 Excursion had a low profile roof rack and side rails. It only added about 2 inches total to the height. don't see why ford couldn't do something like that. You can barely see it in this photo.

Yeck on the roof rails.

Cameras always on would be a battery drain and would need a reliable motion sensor so it doesn't stay running. If I leave my waylens camera on all night, battery dead in the morning

A low voltage cutoff isn’t hard to implement.

Raptors are not intended to be useful. But I’ll jump that Excursion For you if somebody wants me to make a point.

A pocketknife can sometimes remove a screw. Doesn’t make it the go-to for screwdriving.

I finally made mine useful!

The light bar/roof rack is KC HiLites 9222 M-Rack 50” 2015-2021 F-150/Raptor supercab 9-light performance. Works great with the Yakima OverHaul HD Rack on top of the RetraxPro XR bed cover AND fits into my 80" clearance garage. Now if I can only find a set of those OEM beadlock wheels...
