I mean, I know the boost can be seductive and all but... That is certainly an undocumented option I’ve not been made aware of.

Yup. I’m going with trans salesman and misunderstanding. Until I see scientifically proven (internet) proof of this undocumented feature.

I'd be cool with rails. Not stupid big Nissan Pathfinder rails, but something flush mounted would be fine. It would make installing racks or lights much cleaner.
