Timing of the market will play a big factor no doubt. 6-8 months from now probably will be close to the same as it is today. Year from now who knows, dealers might have 10 sitting on the lot selling for invoice.

Long term I don't see the added value in a 37, however I have no interest in one and I think the majority of no enthusiast buyers don't have a clue what their buying. They just want a Raptor when they see one. I wouldn't pay a premium for a 37 new or used, but again I have no desire for one.

If you can get it at MSRP that would probably cover the cost of a 35 with an ADM.

For the record I just passed on a 35 a month ago (dealer inventory) at MSRP. I offered $500 below to a dealer I've purchased 3 Raptors from and all I was doing was standing in the way of buyers wanting to get it at MSRP. I'll wait till I can get one below MSRP again or I'll just do without.

Good luck with your decision and Best wishes if you get it!

is this even a serious question....for the cost difference it's a no brainer. But Don't be surprised it the 37 gets a major delay.

So, after ruling out the tremor and being told there is an allocation for a Raptor (35 only), I was also told this same dealership has an actual build date with an order submitted on a 37 Raptor, with the build date set for Jan 19th. And yes, it's available at MSRP for me.

I had no desire to get a 37, but as I tend to turn my vehicles over every 2-3 years, re sale matter. I know the 37 allocations are much fewer than the 35's, and I know someone else already asked the question whether people think the 37's will hold value better. Ergo, I wanted to throw this out there:

If I stick with the original plan and forego this 37 and order my 35 spec'd the way I want it, it comes to just over $73,300 (Atlas Blue or White + 801 package, spray in bed liner + rubber mat). The issue is that no one really knows when I will actually get a build date and VIN. The way things are going, maybe it takes 6-8 months? In the interim, maybe the value I get back on my 4runner sale also goes down.

If I take the 37 at hand, it comes out to $81,325. It's AMB and has the 801A, plus the spray in bedliner, carbon fiber package, and the tow package with moonroof. I want the step for the bed but hate having to get the moonroof, which is why I opted against that in my 35 build. Also, this doesn't have the Recaros.
With a Jan 19 build date, it will still likely take another couple of months, assuming no supply chain issues, right?

Question: is it worthwhile to take the 37 in hand and spend the extra money, knowing that if I decide I want a 35 in a year when things calm down a bit, I can sell this 37 without losing much of anything?
And if I go that route, am I better off seeing if I can dump the moonroof package and add on the Recaro's?

Or should I wait it out and roll the dice on getting a 35 the way I want?

My build date was October 8th and i received my 2021 35 raptor 2-3 weeks after. My Raptor has some bad suspension clunking and rattling issues. Ford does not know what is wrong or what is the problem. It literally sounds like the lower control arms are loose and banging around under the truck. Some say its the new Fox shocks but after replacing, many say it didnt fix it. I cant stand driving my truck as you can feel every bump from the suspension through steering wheel and peddals. what ever you do, test drive the truck for at least a day and drive 30-40 mph over a crappy road and if the suspension feels loose, take it back and DO NOT sign the title unless it is fixed. As of now Ford doesnt know what is wrong.

It looks like they can modify the 37 build. I'm thinking of eliminating the tow package/moonroof and adding the Blue Recaro's-- although I haven't seen the seats in person.
How do they compare comfort wise for long drives with the standard leather package?
Thoughts?
If it has a build date I'm assuming it has a VIN and can't be changed

2 things. First, don’t know why you started a new thread for this vs posting in your old thread. Second, is a bird in hand worth two in the bush...if the 37 really is what you say it is. Me personally…I’d go for the bush! Lmao200.gif
Neither the 37 nor the 35 will do you justice. Get the Tremor and give @4wheelinAZ your dealer info!

You'll kick yourself every day you wait on the 35 and then possibly every day you own the 35 if you don't take your chance at that 37.
