mine close with arm on my alarm. there are ways to make windows close too. i am doing all of mine.

Sucks that happened. Like others, I'm in the habit of folding my mirrors in anytime I park. Other than parallel parking, I've seen how careless people can be when simply walking between vehicles in the parking lot. You'd think it would be easy enough for people to avoid a big mirror sticking out in their path. The Raptor is big enough. I try to make it as "small" as possible when parked.

The only time I don't fold the mirrors in is if there's going to be some type of frozen precipitation...similar to leaving my wipers up off the windshield.
