Sounds really good and without drone. Would love to hear and see it in person. I also use Marco for my exhaust work. Good to see they now have experience with this set up. I live in Folsom maybe we should start a truck section at the Saturday cars n coffee (Palladio)

heck yah! I've used Marco for years :) I was their 3rd exhaust test; 1 guy brought in a Corsa (PITA) and another had Magnaflow - they originally quoted me at 2+ hours, but were done in under an hour with this one...

even though they did have to cut the OEM pipe because it rust-welded itself together - but they patched it right back up...

I haven't been to C&C in a month or so but hope to make it back soon! Really good showings lately!

What I am suggesting is that you weld in a 40 or 50 and you will be without that farty sound. The only decent sounding ecoboost I have ever heard was one of these quieter Flowmasters. You get that deep Flowmaster tone without the fart.

and like I said, there is no Flowmaster with dual 3" in and dual 3" out

im not with or associated with MGD in anyway, but you can 100% weld in 3" inlet and outlets on a muffler lol..... its not hard.

I guess - if you're into tweaking a $225 muffler... (that's the cheapest dual 2.5" in to dual" out I can find)

so you have a muffler with 2.5" openings and you put a 3" adapter - aren't you reducing overall flow?

any shop that isnt a complete **** *** would remove the 2.5 outlet completely and make the hole larger and weld on a 3" cylinder.

i would only expect someone to do it the way you described if they idk i actually dont know anyone that would do that.

i personally like how the gen2s sound stock so i would have spent my 225$ elsewhere.

The Flow FX is a straight thru design muffler, exactly what is needed for a turbo setup. I would not suggest using a 40 series or any other chambered design muffler. Turbos perform better with straight thru mufflers. thats why Flowmaster who is notorious for using off the shelf mufflers for their cat back systems on all their kits made the flow fx muffler kit with a newly designed muffler.

At this point, everyone should just stay stock with the factory system. You won't improve the sound at all.
