Website says 71 lbs. however I've removed all 4 wheels. The two in the front had pretty durable housing as well. I'd say I've lost 6-8 pounds by removing the wheels and housing. Also, my plate isn't mounted to the jack so I have no plate. Saves me weight too.

$80 vs $190? I'll take the non race jack any day while saving $110(almost a tank of gas) for an item that I'm hoping I never have to use.

I had just suggested contacting Jimmy at WSI with pics of what you have & I'm sure he could come up with a good but simple solution.

He made a skid for me for a Harbor Freight jack that's perfect. I'll post pics in my build thread in a couple days.

Used diamond plate and aluminum sheets to create skid plate and quick-release jack mount. No welding. OTC 2-ton aluminum racing jack. It isn't perfect, but it works really well.

floor jack question

Looking at the off road aluminium floor jack offered by SDHQ. Really a nice unit but it is only 2 tons. My question is.....that enough for our heavy ass trucks?

Our trucks weigh about 3 tons. I don't think that we need a jack that will lift the whole truck. Two tons should be fine for 99% of what anyone wants to do.
