Have never had a garage that would tolerate the Raptor...but with my 2004 Sierra I used the headlight pattern on the front wall as a guide. Drew two marks on the wall where the headlights would focus when I was exactly in the right distance. Worked amazingly well, and I had to do be within an inch.

Not sure if it will work as well with LED lights.

How close is your back bumper to the garage door?

It's very tight. My double door has a couple of horizontal braces that run the length of the door due to it being insulated and the weight. if it weren't for the lower one I'd probably have 5-6 inches. but with that its just a couple. I wrapped that braces with some adhesive felt material as there have been a few occasions where I wasn't in quite right and it caught the top of the plastic on the bumper. no damage as the opener just reversed but just and added precaution.

You guys could easily create a niche in the wall where the truck sticks out the furthest and pick up 3 more inches. Cut the drywall, frame up an opening like you were doing a window, then drywall it.

I have about 7' extra in my garage. It leaves about 3.5' in front and back which is perfect. I can easily walk in front of it, and still drop the tailgate with the garage door closed.

If my garage was that tight, I would be concerned with accidentally releasing the tailgate with the fob.

My garage is about the same length as OPs, and have tired to close the garage with the Raptor in it. It's just not worth trying to get that exact fit each time. I would have to get exactly perpendicular to the wall, which is not going to be easy since the driveway is short and slightly curved. Also, the last 2 feet are raised about two inches, making it impossible pull in straight since the tires would sit on the 'lip'. Not a problem for the back end, but backing in makes the job more difficult.

Not really easy to cut into the drywall as EricM suggested as there is an electrical outlet in exactly the wrong place.

I'd rather park in the garage, but have gotten used to it this way. Virtually no one in my neighborhood parks in their garage. If it's raining and I know I'll take it out again that day, I might pull in partially. However, I've moved some old furniture in there temporarily and will add a weight bench after Christmas, so that's likely not going to be available very often.

It is a shame that garages have gotten smaller while vehicles are getting bigger as a whole. If I ever getting to build my dream house, I'll be sure to get an over sized garage. Really a nice big barn to store at least 3 vehicles as well as typical tools and storage space would be ideal.

Anyone park day in, day out in a space this tight? If so, you guys have any tricks on how I can park perfectly 100% of the time that won't take 5 minutes of inching up, getting out to check, etc?

I back mine in. kiss the wall with the bumper. (actually the exhaust tip is all that touches the wall) Gives me 1.5 inches between the front bumper and the garage door. my cars DO NOT stay outside. Ever. Basically for the reasons you said.

7 feet. very 1st mod was stubby antenna

But I have 3 cars in my 3 car garage. unheard of in most homes where I live. When I bought the truck, my wife was certain it would not fit. i assured her, i measured. But 1.5 inches was cutting it close for sure.
