First time Raptor owner.

Just picked up my 2023 Raptor in Avalanche Gray. Came from a 2022 Silverado ZR2 and was in the market for a TRX. I was not even considering a Raptor but I figured I’d a least test drive one to write it off before going forward with the TRX. To my surprise, after driving the Raptor I was instantly sold!

I went from a 22 raptor into a 22 TRX for about a year. Back in a 23 raptor now. No doubt the TRX is an acceleration beast but for daily driving and off-road - I prefer the raptor all day long.

I pick this bad boy up next week! Coming from ‘22 Lariot. Was only in market for heated steering wheel and only truck on lot was Raptor. EXPLETIVE! After test drive it was a go! Hate to put a plow mount on ‘er.

Definitely have been nervous about leaving in a parking garage during the day, luckily the garages in my city all have pretty good clearance.

I test drove a TRX right before the Raptor. The Hellcat whine can’t be beat, but I felt a lot more comfortable in the Raptor and my wife didn’t like the looks of the TRX (gotta try and keep her somewhat happy lol). The Raptor is no slouch, definitely faster than my ZR2 that had the 6.2L in it. Overall I’m super happy and felt like I made the right choice. Glad you got to enjoy a TRX for a year!
