After fifteen months of ownership I finally got it in the dirt. We had a big family gathering for the 4th of July at my father-in-law's 80 acres on the south Canadian river. Everyone was commenting that they had never seen my Raptor dirty so I decided to put an end to this talk once and for all. A storm blew through in the afternoon and made a muddy mess of things but I was determined to get out on the river bed for some fun. It was fun while it lasted but I don't care much for the cleanup, it's tough on an old fat man.

Finally! Yeah cleanup sucks. Can't tell you how many times I've put on my swim trunks and just laid underneath spraying at the carwash. At least the place that I go uses warm water in the wash mode cause it sucks even more on a cold day.

Ya they definitely look better dirty but when it comes time to clean them mud is such a pain in the ass to get out of all the crevices these trucks have.

@pat247 - looks great!
Pick up some Adam's Polishes cleaners and it will help make that truck all shiny again.

But yeah, dirty trucks are great!

There's just something about Texas mud that makes it much more stickier than normal mud. But a little dirty is ok, A LOT is better. Thunderstorms on the interstate are way easier to clean the undercarriages on these beasts...

What's on your truck below your skid plate?
