I just placed a pretty good sized order from Adams-- among other things I got the Paint Sealant and h20 & gloss, then of course I couldn't resist the deal on the patriot wax as hard as I tried(pretty much the same as the list price Americana right now). I've got non white cars also so hopefully it won't be a total waste of money but I had to try it haha.

Thanks for the explanation. With our current drought, it is going to be awhile, if ever, before we can wash our vehicles in the driveway again.

Have you looked into Rinseless Washing?

Once it is foamed, then I use a wash pad (or the new Wash Wedge) to clean the paint. The foam cannon just gets a lot of soap onto the paint, making it safer and saving time, since you don't have to keep going to the bucket for more soap.

Truth be told, laying on a full white coat of foam was for the pic. The foam only hangs for a few minutes, so I typically foam three times. The first foaming is the hood, roof and windows, then I use the pad or Wedge and rinse it in a bucket of clean water as needed. Second, I foam and wash the middle sections, basically between the windows and the rockers. The last foam application is on the rockers and bumpers, saving them for last since those areas are the dirtiest.

Dude, this is a lot easier than i imagined it would be (or maybe you just make it seem easy lol). But i just got back from the car wash and thats an 1 hour long process, not that its a big deal but still. And at the car wash you have those hoses flopping around and smacking into everything. I am just getting annoyed with it, and this seems like a logical next move, cleaning the truck at home. Now, would you suggest the Wash Wedge over the Adams car wash pad? Got any tips for getting started? My shopping cart on Adams has, a Jumbo Plush Microfiber Towel, a gallon of Adams Car Wash Shampoo, and an Adams Foam Gun, anything i should add? This Memorial Day sale is the time to buy! Thanks!

I like the new Wash Wedge over the pads. If the truck is hammered, good practice is to use one pad for the upper parts and then another for the rockers and bumpers. A good way to keep track is to use a Wedge for the uppers and a pad for the lowers. The pad also works a little better getting bugs off of the grill.

I would suggest also getting some Detail Spray to use when drying and some All Purpose Cleaner for the wheels/tires. You can also save some money buying the kits. If you're going to get the Foam Gun, buy it in one of the kits. I would also get either a 16oz bottle of the Car Wash Shampoo or get a pump dispenser for the gallon, a little easier than trying to pour straight out of the gallon container.
