Do you guys like the new blue carwash better than the old stuff? I really like the red.

Also, thoughts on buttery wax vs. americana? I'm willing to pay if it's worth it, but I'm only just starting to switch to adams products so I haven't tried either--and wax is on the list for my next order.

The new blue Car Wash Shampoo is better than the original red. It has more lubricity and the suds last longer. Only negative for me is the smell, I liked the cherry scent of the red better than the wildberry scent of the blue.

I have yet to try the Buttery Wax, but the Americana solid paste wax will has more longevity once applied to the paint than the Buttery will, as it is a liquid wax. The Buttery Wax would need to be applied more often (2-3 months) then the Americana (4-5 months).

For your white truck, I would skip the wax and only use a paint sealant. The Liquid Paint Sealant will last longer than the wax (maybe twice as long or more, depending on the conditions). Waxes will typically have more depth than sealants, but the difference is not really noticeable on lighter colored paints. Very few people would be able to tell the difference, even on darker colors, since sealants have improved so much.

The H2O Guard & Gloss has amazing shine and depth. I think it looks just as deep as using a carnauba paste wax. The downside to the easy application of the HGG is that it will only protect a month or two. A good regimen is to use Liquid Paint Sealant as the base protection and then add HGG every month or so to boost the protection and keep it shiny.

I used red soap in the foam cannon. Add water first. Derrr so much foam.

Used the buttery wax and very easy to apply and take off. Will see how it lasts but a lot better than the 80 pounds of moab clay now occupying my street.
