My bad hahaha i was just assuming about the truck..now im worried it won't fit in my garage hahaha. But he's not comparing me to the kids in my neighborhood. Mainly my cousins and the adults around here. I live in Yorba Linda where most guys my age have trucks.

You need a Raptor to live in "Land of gracious living"

It would look just fine in your driveway, in fact I think it would look much better than a 335

If you can convince your dad to get it then go for it and don't look back. But if not then seriously you shouldn't be disappointed with those other choices. Now, I'm 18 and a spoiled little shit and I admit that, but for what its worth I will give my 2 cents. So, I seriously don't think the raptor should be a first vehicle, sorry to be a downer.If you have a raptor as your first it might set your standards a bit too high. I had my first car for 2 1/2 years then got the raptor. When I upgraded cars something hit me and I realized, "Wow I'm blessed". And there is just something about that first car that will somewhat teach you to respect cars so that when you get one of significant value that you will appreciate it. But hey, go for what you want and just be happy with whatever you get.

ps: I know some of you older guys will think I just bs'd that whole thing lol, but I am serious.

First cars should be old beaters, that way you wanna upgrade, and when you do you have something fun to smash up!!

First car was a '72 Pinto. And that was in like 1982, I think. There were a few kids that got new cars in HS, like Camaros, Corvettes, etc.

I remember about 12-13 years later one of those guys was buying a used BMW 5 series from me. lol.

I had a 75 Dodge power wagon lifted for my first truck. I bought it at 13 and had to wait til 14 to drive it legally. Due to the 20 year old truck and had it all the way through HS i learned alot about fixing shit. I was so grateful when I bought my 97 4runner to go to college in 04.

First car was a '64 Impala Supersport.......found it in a hog pin and paid $75 to tow it home....thought it was a good deal since the three eggs in the glovebox conveyed. My granddad and I never got the triple dueces to work, but it got me around until I bought my first truck in '76.

First Car 95 pontiac grandprix 600$ grade a hunk-o-shit after dropping around 3500 almost 4 grand just to make it run got me through high school then upgraded to a 2000 chevy silverado with 155000 miles on it ran that for a year then had enough to pay for my Raptor. My mom always said id have my dream truck and i do i worked my ass off for half of it so if you get a 335i or a mustang run it for a year and a half maybe more then get what you want in my opinion be glad he will buy you a 335i or a mustang im 21 but i believe strongly in what NV Guy says the only way my kids will have a car is if they buy it themselves like i did

first car i was well handed down, an 82 AMC Eagle Wagon. shit brown. parent bought it in 84, so it drove me to kindergarten.... then it was my sisters in high school and part of college, then i got it when i turned 16.... hated that damn ugly shit box. then my senior year i bought my 85 F250 that my brother in law restored, so it looked damn near brand new. bought a 99 F250 in 02 and finally at 33 yrs old i bought my first brand spankin new vehicle the Raptor.
