What mpg are you getting on the hiway? You know, 80'ish.
I haven’t had a chance to do a long road trip at those speeds yet (I’ve got one coming up in October), but here’s a quick glance after a quick vacation of varied highway speeds (two lane highways at 70mph) and some in town driving. At this point the truck isn’t broken in yet, but it’s acceptable for what the truck is. My guess is the Raptor would have read between 17 and 18mpg on the same trip.

Is there a "Tyrannosaurus mode" on this bad boy?

Where it grows short arms and can't reach the windshield to wipe it dry?

I’m going to keep the TRX for at least a year to give it a fair shake. I really enjoy the truck and the feel of the throttle response from the supercharged V8. Honestly, I can’t go back to a Turbo Charged V6. The Turbo Lag drove me nuts!
its not turbo lag, its the electronic throttle. 2 tiny turbos on a v6 aren't laggy lol

Did you calibrate it? My Ford was way off and my old Dodge was farther off. And they were both optimistic ...

The Raptor always read higher than the actual mileage, where the last time I checked the TRX was actually .2mpg’s lower than the actual mileage, so it’s damn close.

If it's really almost 15mpg in moderate mixed driving, the TRX might be a contender.

I still haven’t down a full tank of in town driving only, but my guess is the 10mpg is going to be close. The TRX is a lot of things, but gentle on fuel is not one of them.
Well dang. Ten in town is five off road. Or less.

Pssssshhhh like these actually go off road. It’s all about the HP and 0-60 don’t you know lol the off-road section on the TRX forums is a ghost town
